A walking tour with MRT transfers exploring Singapore’s multi-racial identity through the historical roots, migration, communities, cultures, cuisines and shared national development of Kampong Gelam, Little India and Chinatown.
Tour Plan
Opening orientation on Singapore as a meeting place, followed by Istana Kampong Gelam, Gedung Kuning, Gelam Tree, Kandahar Street shophouses, Muscat Gate, Sultan Mosque, Bussorah Street, Yip Yew Chong mural, Arab Street/Haji Lane and examples of food and cultural fusion, subject to timing and operational considerations.
